The Academy for Youth Sports Administrators is a comprehensive certification program offering comprehensive and cutting-edge information on critical topics for professional youth sports administrators. The Academy’s primary goal is to provide youth sports administrators with the foundation and tools needed to positively impact the youth sports experience for all children in their communities. It is designed as an interpersonal, educational and networking opportunity that no youth sports administrator should miss.

The Academy is a professional development opportunity and completing the Online certification process is the way the Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) credential can be earned! Attendees gain a foundation of knowledge as well as new perspectives on developing workable solutions to challenges and issues faced while on the job.

When:
January 30, 2023
1:30pm-5:00pm

Where:
Sheraton Convention Center
1600 College Blvd
Overland Park, KS 66211

More Information:
The CYSA credential is valid for two years and must be maintained by obtaining continuing education. All CYSAs have continuous access to their Online CYSA Profile within the Online Academy. This area of the Online Academy includes a variety of tools, resources and information designed to assist the CYSA in offering the best possible youth sports program in their local community. Additional detailed information about the CYSA Area and maintaining this certification can be found on the Once a CYSA page or the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.

Earning the CYSA allows youth sports administrators to demonstrate their professional connection to the field while allowing them to network with other CYSAs from around the country and world. This certification provides a fundamental understanding of how quality youth sports programs operate and also serves as a professional development opportunity, resume builder and networking forum.

More than 5,300 professionals have earned their CYSA to date and many organizations (including the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force as well as many public entities) require that all Youth Sports Directors earn the CYSA credential.
