State Championship Registration Information

REQUIREMENTS | Only park and recreation departments that are members of KRPA can enter teams into the Kansas Esports Championship. All players must be listed on a registration form provided by a registered park and recreation department. Players of all ages allowed entry. Players will compete on the Mission Control platform for the championship games. Complete roster is due to the KRPA state office by October 15th (no exceptions). Registration deadline is October 15, 2021.

$100 agency registration fee covers all 5 players. There are not separate fees for each game. The "team" you send to the state championship consists of the players you put forward in each game's sub teams.

State Championship | October 21-23

Players from across the state will virtually compete in the video game they qualified for, referencing the -Mission Control app for match schedules and standings. Prizes will be given and winners will be acknowledged at the Annual KRPA Conference in Manhattan in January (your agency does not have to be a Mission Control user but each player will need to sign up for a free Mission Control account).

GAMEPLAY KRPA is not responsible for internet quality during games. It is the player's responsibility to ensure they have adequate upload and download speeds to not incur lag or quality issues. Players of all ages are allowed one entry per game.
Agencies can report up to two teams per game to represent their agency; participants can compete on more than one team but cannot play multiple times in one game.
