Park Trail Design, Construction, and Maintenance Workshop

Kanopolis State Park will host the 2025 Trail Development and Maintenance Workshop, featuring in-depth sessions on multi-use trail design, construction, and maintenance—with a special focus on equestrian trails. During the workshop, the Saline County Mounted Patrol and Rescue Squad will present on their role in supporting trail safety and addressing trail-related issues. This workshop blends classroom instruction with on-site tours of the park’s trail system, offering both practical knowledge and real-world examples to apply in your own projects.
