This policy provides guidance for responsible AI use by members, partners, speakers and volunteers engaging in KRPA-related activities.Guiding Principles KRPA encourages innovation while maintaining high ethical standards. Members using AI tools should follow these principles: · Transparency: Be open when AI tools are used to assist with KRPA-related work. · Accountability: Members are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before sharing or publishing. · Privacy: Do not share confidential, personal, or financial information with public AI platforms. · Integrity: Use AI to support—not replace—professional expertise and human judgment. Acceptable Use AI may be used to: · Draft or edit communications, reports, or program ideas. · Summarize publicly available, non-confidential materials. · Brainstorm or improve the organization of written content. Prohibited Use AI tools may not be used to: · Upload confidential or proprietary information. · Create or share misleading, inaccurate, or plagiarized content. · Replace human oversight in important professional or policy decisions.
